Christmas! What a wonderful day to have

Christmas! Sunday! This morning was awsome.

We got up and got ready for church. It was the

best meeting. The music, the talks! I wish

Christmas could fall on Sunday every year.

It just made the day so special as we were able

to focus on our Savior Jesus Christ.

My dad was able to speak in our ward. It was

so good. I always love to hear him speak. He

always dose an amazing job. Jer also spoke and

did really good. The spirit of the meeting was so

strong. And was a tender way to start the morning.

Christmas Eve in Silver City

Dec. 23, 2011

It snowed and snowed today. The kids

went out and played for a little while.

Jani and Jett came over and we got stuff

ready for mom and dad to get here. They

are coming for Christmas this year. So

we are doing a dinner before Justin and Jani

head to Show Low to be with Jani's mom.

Dec. 14, 2011

Jadon and Jeben had their court of honor

for scouts. We are so proud of them and

for their hard work in earning their badges.

They have done really well. Jeben will turn

12 in April so he will advance to young mens

where Jadon is. And Jadon with be 14 in May.

He is working on his life right now. And will

start his Eagle this coming summer.

So since Justin and Jani live here we get to have a

baby around our house. It has been fun for all of us.

The kids like toting him around. It is always a fight

to see who gets to hold him. Fun memories!!

More snow in Silver City!!

The kids got out early today cuz of the snow. And

now the sun is out and shining! Oh well I love

having them with me. I wish it was Christmas break!

The boys were excited because the Shelley boys were

out back tubing down the hill. It was so funny though

because there wasn't a whole lot of snow. But man they

loved it!

Dec 3, 2011

we had a ward Christmas party at the church. We were

worried no one would show because of the snow. But

we had a good turn out and it was a lot of fun. The

kids always love to go. And of course they get so

excited to see Santa. Jeben was Joseph, Jandy was

and angle, Jailee was a wise man, Jer was the donkey,

and Jett was baby Jesus.

Friday Dec. 2 it started snowing. The kids got out of

school early. We were actually sad cuz Grama Net

and Grampa Eben were coming to visit us. So they

got snowed in and didn't make the trip. Jadon had a

game on Saturday that got canceled. The kids went

and played in the snow. Jandy was so sad that she

couldn't. She is still learning to walk again. It was a

nice day home. Justin, Jani, and Jett came over. We

made soup and bread. We watched old Christmas

movies. It was fun and a nice night at home!!

Decorating Our Christmas Tree

Last night we made brownies and hot chocolate

and the kids & Justin decorated our tree. They all

have a can of special ornaments that they have

picked out through the years. So they all put those

on first and then they put the rest. They had a good

time. It is crazy how big they are getting though.

The boys could reach the top of the tree. Usually

I have to go back and spread the ornaments out. But

this year we didn't. Jailee asked me when I was done

getting the 3 parts of the tree together if she could go

and get the tub of instruments so they could start

putting them on the tree. That was so a Jamie thing to

say. It was funny.

Christmas Light Parade

Saturday November 26 we went to the Light Parade.

We always eat pizza and get hot chocolate. Jadon was

in it this year. He rode his bike with the scouts.

It was fun. It always gets us in the Christmas spirit.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving lunch at the school with the kids.

Every year we go to the school and sit with the

kids for lunch. This year Jeben helped serve. He

was all excited. Anyway fun times.

We spent Thanksgiving in Show Low this year.

We had a good time. It is always nice to be with

our family. The kids are all getting so big. This

year was extra special. We spent it at Grama Roxie's

cuz mom and dad moved there a few weeks ago. It was

such a tender time cuz I have so many great memories

with my cousins at Thanksgiving time in that house.

I thought about her often through out the few days.

I miss her so much and am so Thankful for all that

she did for me. What a special time of year it is! I

love my mom and dad so much and am thankful that

my kids get to spend time with them. We are so blessed!

Today Jeremy, Stewart, and Jeben went out to look for

a deer. They saw one but didn't get a shot. They had

a good time together. Jadon then had a game in

Bayard. So we all went to that. He did really good.

It is so much fun watching him play. It was nice to

have Stew and Betty here for a visit. Fun memories!

Today Jadon plays Hatch for his first

game. He is the starting point guard for

the 7th grade team. He has really enjoyed

playing so far. This is the sport that he is

really interested in. We are so excited to go

and watch him play.

Halloween 2011

Saturday Oct. 28, 2011 we headed to Show Low
to move dad and mom into Grandma's house.
It was fast and crazy, yet sad and a little emotional.
They have lived there for 34 years. I know
that it is a good thing and that it needed to happen.
So I am 100% supportive and happy for them.
A lot of memories have been made in that house.
And as a little girl there was no place like home.
I will never forget all the great times and memories
that we shared as a family there. I will miss going
there to visit but look forward to driving into Grandma
Roxie's driveway again. Her home is so special to me
also. It was a little tender carrying boxes back into
Grandma's. I love her and miss her. It is so crazy
how life changes with the blink of an eye. But I am
glad that we all have each other through these times

of change!

Today was camo day. The kids love

this week. They like dressing up each day!

Except yesterday Jailee wouldn't do

inside out day! She is so funny about some

things! Jandy is really bummed cuz she is

missing this week. So today I told her that I

would wear camo with her. She was excited

about that!! Fun times. I love my kids!!

Justin and Jani came over for family home evening.

Jani made soup that was awsome. And then the kids

got at it cleaning out their pumpkins. They had fun.

But I think it is a lot easier to do one family pumpkin.

Brian and TyAnn came to Silver City to visit.

The kids were so excited to see them. They came

Thursday night and left Saturday Morning. Jandy

is doing really good. She has been wheeling around

on the wheel chair. That was the best thing we could

have done. She feels like she can do her own thing

with out always asking us to do things for her. I don't

mind doing it but I think it makes her down. So her

spirits have been a lot better the past few days. It was

nice having visitors. Fun times!!!

Jandy's 2nd foot surgery!

Today we are heading to the doctor to make sure

everything looks good. She is such a trooper!

Jandy Girls 2nd Foot Surgery

Yesterday we took Jandy in at 7:40 am to prep for

her surgery. She had foot surgery last march and

could not walk for 6 weeks. So here we are again

doing the other foot. She has done really well. She

got a little nervous right before she went in. But she

did great. She was joking around with Adam

(the doctor). He is one of our really good friends here

in Silver. He actually helped us so much through the

year I was sick and basically diagnosed me with

what I had. Anyway. So everything went good with

Jandy. She came out of recovery a little sick to

her tummy. But was fine. We are glad to have her

home and hope for the best through this recovery!

Jandy asked her dad to go outside to shoot some

baskets with her before her surgery. It was pretty

cute. She loves basketball!

Jadon's Human Cell Project

I am not that great at helping with homework.

But I had fun with Jadon doing this project

he has due tomorrow. We made a cell out

of a bunch of random things we had and

labeled each thing in the cell. Anyway.

Probably doesn't look like much but we had

a good time.

Jandy's Piano Recital Oct.16 2011

Last night Jandy came in and had some papers

with all our names on them. They were tickets

for her piano recital and a blank one for her

to sign afterwards. It was pretty cute. She got

in front of us and said her name and that she

would be playing 13 songs. She then said and

its no big deal they are only like a minute long.

She told us the name of each song before she

played it. And then she started to play and sang

as she played. It was so cute. I hope she keeps

up the piano. She loves it.

Remembering Grandma!

Two years ago today one of the greatest women I know

passed away. All day today my thoughts and memories

of my Grandma have been running through my head. She

was one of my best friends and the best example anyone

would ever know. She was truly amazing. And although

I miss her so very much. I am happy that she is where she

is! I bet she is enjoying Grandad's jokes and leading the

choir. Oh how I love her!!

Fall Break!

Mom, Jandy, Jailee, and I headed to St George Utah

on the 9th of October. The boys stayed with Jer.

Since they did Chicago this summer with the guys.

I told the girls we would go somewhere. We went

to Tuachon to watch Tarzan last year and they

announced the The Little Mermaid would be

showing this year. So I told the girls that we could

go. They have talked about it all year long. I got

tickets for fall break and we took Grandma Net

with us. It was so good. The girls loved it. I

couldn't believe the actors. They were amazing.

The next morning we got up and loaded the car

and headed to Vegas for the Donny & Marie

show.

Donny and Marie was a blast. We had tickets by the

stage. When they came out they noticed the girls. Jandy

had a hat on and Donny came over gave the girls a big

smile and a high five. He then took Jandy's hat and

put it on. Then continued singing for a moment then gave

it back. She was smiling from ear to ear and giggling.

It was so cute. We had such a good time. Marie came

over and gave them five. Then through out the show they

would come over by us and sing to the girls. It happened

several times. After the show as the curtain was going

down They bent down and waved good buy to them.

It was cool.We headed over to show the girls where

they go after the show to do meet and greet with people

who bought special tickets. Well I thought it would be

cool if someone could get Donny to sign Jandy's hat.

I was watching the people and there was a couple that I

thought would do it. They all knew the girls from the show

and thought they were cute. So I asked the guy and he

said sure that he didn't mind.Well right before they went

in he said I want her to have my backstage pass. I

couldn't believe it. Then another guy looked at Jailee and

said he wanted her to have his. It was crazy. Jailee was

nervous and didn't want to go. So I told the lady at the door

that I would stand back while the girls talked to them.

She was hesitant but let me go. So the girls got up there

and they both said "theres those girls" Donny was first

he gave them a big hug and kissed Jailee's cheek. It was

so fun watching them. They talked and got pictures with

him. Then they went to Marie. She gave them both big

hugs and talked to them. Jandy asked Donny to sign her

hat. Then the lady told me to get in a photo. So I got one

with all of them. It was so awsome. The girls will never

forget it. And those men who did that, I couldn't believe

it. It was such a great night.

The next day we went to the M&M shop. We were

there forever looking at all the cool stuff. The girls

loved all the M&M figures. Afterwards we went

to outback and ate lunch. Then I wanted them to see

the Venetian Motel. It looks really cool inside. The

ceiling looks like you are outside and around the top of

the walls are cool buildings. We went in and the girls

thought it was cool. We went on a gondola ride. The

guy was funny. He sang to us and the girls would giggle.

They had fun. Then later that night we went to Lion King.

It was amazing too. Even Jailee stayed up through the

whole thing. It is really crazy how the people

can seem like the animals. The costumes and voices.

They do such an awsome job. What a great time and

memory we had and made. We won't ever forget it.

Our Jailee Girl is 7!

I can't believe my baby girl is 7:) Last

night we all sat around the table with the

kids birth certificates and talked about when

they were born and what time it was. They looked

at their little foot prints. It was fun. And seems like

it was just yesterday. I loved that moment. They

are all growing up so fast. Anyway. I love my

Jailee Bug. She is so special. I will never forget

how surprised I was when Jer said "Its a girl!" I

couldn't beleive that Jandy got a sister. And that

we had another sweet girl. She brings so much

happiness into our home! Happy Birthday Buggie!!

Jailee was so excited that she got chosen for her

class to receive the Terrific Kid Award for the month of

September!! She is so fun! And she loves school so

much! We are so proud of her!

I can’t believe September is gone. We have
been so busy. We were able to start moving
into our new home on Sep 20^th. We have
been so excited for that day. The kids

especially. They have been in one big room
in the house we have been renting. We call
it the Lewis orphanage, they have been good
sports. It is the best thing ever when I am in

my room and I hear them all telling eachother
goodnight. We made some memories there but
are ready for a change. And what perfect timing
with fall, conference, our home, all these changes

taking place. I love this time of year. I remember
as a kid going for rides up throughWhite
Mountains of Arizona. It was so beautiful. All the
colors of the leaves. And the change in the air. I am so
thankful for this time of year. We just finished
another General Conference. I love Conference.
It to me is like fall. As we listen to the talks it makes
me want to change and become better. Focus on
life and the real reason we are all here. I love the
humor, the tenderness, the concern, the laughs, the
tears, the teaching that the men and women show as
they talk to each of us. I love the Spirit that is felt, and
that touches me as I sit with my family and think
how lucky I am to have them in my life. And that
together we are growing and learning in the gospel.
I am so thankful for my Heavenly Father and for our
Savior Jesus Christ. I cannot imagine my life without
my testimony and the role it plays each and every day
in my life. We are so blessed. And I am thankful for
change and all that comes with it. It helps us become
who we are.

So I finally got around to taking the kids school pics.

I like to do them at the beginning of the year...and the

middle...and the end. Ok well all the time. But when I

get a picture day packet from the school I know it is time

because then Im not tempted to spend a lot of money on

pictures I'm not happy with. So anyway here are a few that

we did on Monday! Fun times. They are all growing up on

me. I know I always say that but when you see these you

will probably agree.

School Time!

The kids are really enjoying school. All of them

are doing really well so far. They picked up right

where they left off. We are still trying to get the whole

schedule thing down. But we do like having one again.

FOOTBALL

Jadon played his first football game yesterday.

He did so good. He had a few really good

tackels and almost had an interception. But

over all he had a lot of fun and is really glad he

decided to play. It was so crazy watching. It seems

like just yesterday I was watching my brothers play

junior high football. Time goes fast. It is going to be

fun going to the games and seeing him out there.

On Saturday the boys had a scout fund raiser.
They moved a bunch of scrap metal for a
company and the company gave them the
money they earned towards scout camp. They
worked so hard. Then that evening the Primary
did a ward pie and ice cream social. It was so
much fun. I couldn't believe the ice cream
maker. It was awsome. It makes 6 gallons at
a time. Everyone took a turn turning it. They
had a cake eating contest for the kids. Jeben and
Jandy did it from our family. Everyone had a
good time.

First day of School...

August 10, 2011

The kids started school Wednesday! I can't believe that

summer is gone. It went so fast. I guess we were so

busy too, but we are not ready. Being in a schedule

will be good, but other than that I am sad to see them

leave us and start another year. That means they are

a year older. They are getting so big. I wish that I could

shelter them from all that is out there...but I know that

these times are the times they grow...in life...the gospel

their testimony of what is right and wrong...it is the way

it is supposed to be. I can just do what I do as a mom

in teaching them as much as I can when they are with me

hoping that it will all sink in and they will remember the

way it feels to be in our home...and that it is a place they

love to be and want to come back to at the end of each

day! I love my kids so much and am so thankful and proud

to be their mother. It brings me so much joy and happiness

to have them in my life and how they teach me what life

is all about each and every day! They are so special in their

own little ways! We have a great year ahead of us!!

Jeben has Mr Walter, Jandy had Mrs Taylor,
and Jailee has Mrs. Kasten...we could not have
gotten better teachers. They are all so awsome.

Last trip to Las Cruses before school starts

Jeremy and I had to go to Cruses to get the

lights for the new house. So I decided last

minute to take the kids and finish up some

last minute school shopping. As soon as we

got there we started shopping. Jadon was so

fun this year. He actually wanted to pick what

clothes he would like for this year. It was crazy.

I remember hitting that point in life where I cared

what I wore. Fun times. Jer came on Thursday and

again last minute we decided to try Wet N Wild.

We got there in the middle of the day. But we had

Plenty of time. The kids loved it. Jailee was a little

hesitant but always is at first. But by the end she

was having a ball. Friday we got up and headed to

Lowes. It was kind of exhausting picking every

light. But we made it through. The kids were burned

out. We were there for like 5 hours. It was crazy.

Anyway....we all were ready to get home!

Cori n the boys come to visit!

Josh is in Rhode Island for navy training. So Cori

brought the boys and came to hang out for a few

days. We had a good time. The weather is so crazy

cuz of the monsoons so we went and got a motel

room so we could swim. It was fun. The kids loved

it. They were here for 5 nights. It was great to see

them again. They moved to San Diego so they are

closer now. Anyway! More cousin memories!

Jadon was a busy boy today. Him and

Jeben loved watching BYU this year. There

was a player named Jimmer #32. Well he was

awsome. He went to the NBA and every thing.

Well Jadon was way into it. He wanted his jersy,

the hat, to name a kid Jimmer. So when I got

home it smelled like cake. And this is what was

there. He made this cake. It was actually pretty

cool that he thought it up. He's a good kid.

He is growing up on us!

The roof at the Furniture Store has been

leaking and has had trouble. Well when

the guys went up there there were holes

all over from the crows. They would get

food from the fast food places by us and

go to our roof and peck at the food. And

in the mean time they made huge holes

everywhere. So Jeremy told Jadon and

Jeben they could work and earn money.

So Jer got the stuff we needed and the

boys started filling all the holes. It took them

like 3 months to finish. Once the holes were

filled Jeremy and the boys got upearly in the

morning and went and painted the whole roof.

It was a big job and the boys were so glad

when it was done. But it was really good

for them to work and get that experience.

CHICAGO CUBS

July 17, 2011

Jeremy, Jadon, Jeben, Jarom, and Eben J went to

Mesa the 17th so they could fly out in the morning to

Chicago for a baseball game. It is a quick trip. They

will be up all night. Their flight was at 6 am on

Monday morning and they flew out of Chicago at 6am

on Tuesday morning. They are crazy. But they had a

great time. They did a lot in a short period of time. And

the Cubs actually won the game. So that was even better!!

Jadon and Jeremy left for scout camp for the week.

Jadon is so excited. They love it. He has the best

leaders. He is getting close to starting his Eagle. So

he will probably have it by the time he is 14/15. We

are so excited for him.

Since Jadon and Jer had scout camp I took the other

3 kids to Show Low to help Mom and Dad move

things around at the building. They are going to be

moving down there sometime in the next few months.

So it was a good week. We got a lot done.

This year was

hard without Grandma! I was missing her so much.

She was on my mind. I just can't believe it is going on

two years already. Life goes on, and passes us by.

But I will always be so thankful for her and that she

was one of my best friends and one of the

greatest examples in my life. I love her and hope to

follow in her footsteps. She was awsome!!

We went to Show Low after our family reunion

in Snowflake to spend the 4th with our Show Low

Lewis family! We have done the Show Low 4th of

July parade forever. It is long and hot. But we

always do it anyway. Well this year the parade was

so good! We actually really enjoyed it. The kids had

fun. After wards we went to moms and had a water

fight. It was crazy. We were soaked. Great day!

Family Reunion Time!!

Lewis Family Reunion
Every two years we go to Snowflake for a reunion
with Jer's brothers and sisters! Tifani, Taralee,
and TyAnn were in charge this year. It was such
a fun time. They did an awsome job. They had an
olympic theme so they split all of us up into groups.
Each team was a different color and we all
competed in different events that they had planned.
The kids had a blast!! It is always good to get
together and build on our friendships with each
other. Our kids need those memories with their
cousins since we all live in different places.
What a great time we had!

The Friday night they had Karaoke! Our family

sang Don't Stop Believing by Journey! It was so

much fun. All the kids did such a good job on the

songs they chose! It was pretty cool hearing each

family! There are some talented kids in the fam!!

Night Crawlers!!
June 28, 2011
So we were at Grandma's house in Show Low
and Jadon and J went out looking for night
crawlers. They caught so many of them I could
not believe it. We use to go to the church lawn
when I was a kid and catch night crawlers. Well
Jadon decided the next night to take his cousin
Hannah and go out and catch night crawlers.
I was sitting on the couch and all of the sudden
I hear a knock on the window behind me and
Jadon had this worm hanging out of his mouth.
I squealed and he came running in and the night
crawler was squirming around and then all of the
sudden he started to eat it. I could not believe it.
I was sick. He thought it was funny. Then to top
that off Jarom came in and Jadon said what would
you give me if I ate a night crawler? Jarom said 10
bucks. So he then ate another one. I couldn't believe
it. He is crazy. But so much fun!!

When we got home from Mesa the girls and I

decided to take a road trip to Sanders to see

J, Jaylyn, Hailyn, and Gabriel. The girls had so

much fun and kept Hailyn entertained. Gabriel

changed so much since we last saw him. It was a

fun few days. J has been working this fire by

Springerville and has been gone a lot. He had to go

back out so JJ and the kids came home with us to

Silver for a few days. It was fun hanging out!!

After we did our family pictures at the temple

we went with Justin to the d-backs game. It was

so much fun! And they even one which was even

better. The boys got their baseballs signed by one

of the pitchers. They were way excited about that.

We decided it would be cool to take our family

pictures at the Mesa Temple. It is our 14 Year

anniversary this year. I have always wanted a

family picture in white and we did it at the

Temple we were sealed in so it made it that

more special. I am so thankful for my family.

Fun Times In The Sun!!
Every year I go to Phoenix to have my follow up
appointments with the doctors there. So this year I
took them early and we spent a day hanging out at
time share! We had a great time.

Justin and Jani came to visit so they could check out
Silver City. They are thinking about moving here.

So I walked in the kitchen and the boys are like

shhhh don't tell the girls. They were making a little

Jadons tournament in Albuquerque
June 2 & 3 2011
We went up to Albuquerque for Jadon's last tournament for
the travel team. He did awsome. We are sad there will be
no more of these tournaments. They have been a lot of fun.
But he will be playing 7th grade basketball. So a whole
new chapter begins! Its exciting!!

Jadon turns 13!!

Holy cow we have a teenager! Time flies. Jadon

has grown up so much the past year. It has been fun

watching him. He is so much taller too. We have a

lot of fun with him. He is such a good kid. I have

loved the friendship that we have made. I will never

forget the day he was born. We were so excited to

be parents. He has taught us so much and does every

day. I am so proud to be his mom. I love you bud.

Josh Graduated from Optometry

Mom, Dad, Justin, Jeremy, and I flew to Oregon

for Josh's graduation. It was a great trip. We are so

proud of Josh and all that he has accomplished. They

are headed to San Diego to work for the Navy. We are

glad that they will be closer!!

Lyvonne Sylte

Lyvonne has worked for us the whole

time we have owned the Furniture Gallery.

This past winter she had a cough n cold that

she could not get rid of. All of us had it and

the doctors just said it was allergies. Well

come March she went to the doctor and they

decided to run some tests. By the time they did

them it was into April. She started getting really

bad. They said she had congestive heart failure.

They put her on oxygen. Then they said it was

more and started a bunch more tests. On

April 28, 2011 she called us and said she

would no longer be working. Jeremy and I

got the kids and went to her house to "Say

Good buy!" It really was too. Jer and I went in

first and both just lost it. She looked so frail. We

talked for a while and cried. It was so hard. She

has been a huge part of our life. And the kids

lives. After a while we brought the kids in. They

were so emotional and all new what was happening.

Jailee was probably having the hardest time.

She spent two years by herself at the store.

And spent a lot of time at Lyvonne's desk.

They all hugged her. We then said our goodbuys

and left. Lyvonne past away May 12, 2011.

It was such an emotion. It all happened so

fast. She had cancer everywhere in her

body. She was one of the healthiest people

we knew. It was a shock. And we can't believe

that she is gone. We will miss her so much and

think about her often.

Mothers Day

of good stuff for Mothers Day. Melissa, the boys,

and Ray all came over. It was a fun time. I am

Youth Temple Trip

So Jer and I had the opportunity to take the youth

to Safford for a temple trip. It was so awsome to

be there with Jadon. I can remember going as a kid

to the temple. And here I am with a kid of my own

who is old enough to go. I can't believe how fast

time goes. I am thankful for this day and the sweet

memory that was made with Jeremy and Jadon!

I love my Farrah! She lived here and is one of

my best friends. Then she moved away and is now

4 hrs from here. So every once in a while we meet

in Las Cruses and go to lunch. We never have

enough time but cherish the time we do have. I love

her tonz and am so blessed to have her in my life!!

I get the opportunity to go every other Wednesday

and spend it with a group of girls including my

Jandy girl. We do crafts and lessons and just hang

out for an hour! It is a fun time. I really enjoy being

What a special day! I am so thankful for my Savior

and all that he did for all of us. I am thankful for the

opportunity I have to be a mom and to be able to teach

my children about him and the love he has for each and

every one of us. I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter

Day Saints. And for the impact it has had on my life! I am

so blessed to know that I can be with my family forever!

What a comfort that is! I love my kids and Jeremy and

am thankful for the moments we are able to share one

with another. They are my world and my

greatest joy in life!

Jeben turned 11! I can't believe it! Where does time

go! He is such a fun little guy to have around!

He keeps us laughing! I will never forget the day

he was born! He was 3 weeks early. It was just

Jer and I there. What a special moment that was! We

So starting in March Silver City started burning up.

The first fire went through our neighborhood. 13

houses were burnt down. It was pretty scary. Then

from there there was fire after fire. One week there

was a fire every day. It was pretty crazy. These are

just two pics. Nothing great. Its just a small memory

of what happened this summer!!

tournament in Grants NM. He has been

Playing on this travel team for the past 3

Years. It has been so much fun to watch

him improve through the years. He is a

good ball player. This was his last year.

On April 7,2011 I went with Jailee Bug

on her field trip to the animal

shelter. She was so excited.

I have been with each kid and every

year the wind always blows. It was crazy.

But it doesn't seem to bother the

On April 11, 2011 Jer and I were in the store talking to our manager Ray when this guy came in the store and said some kid tagged our truck. So we took off outside and the guy said he went to the park across the street. We then saw him running down the road so Jer took off one way and I the other. I then saw Jer running across the highway. I then called 911 as I ran behind them. Jer and I were on with 911 at the same time. He chased the kid down many back streets and through the big ditch for about 20 to 30 minutes. I called his phone and he had finally caught the guy. By the time I got to them the police and ambulance were both there. It was so funny that Jer actually caught the kid. He was out of breath but the kid was the one who needed the ambulance. Anyway. It ended up that the kid had tagged other places. He came to the store a few weeks later with his mom and apologized. It was quite the morning.

Jadon is growing up too fast. They went to dinner with the guys and then off to the Priesthood Session of General Conference. It seems like just yesterday he was just a little guy. He so fun right now, all these new stages. But in the same I hate seeing him grow up so fast!

Jeben and these boys have been in the same troop since they started. And they all have worked really hard with Sandy Shelley to get their arrow of light award. It was awsome that they were all around to get it at the same time. We are so blessed to have such an amazing scout leader to help them accomplish their goals. I just can't believe he is 11 now. Before we know it he will be joining Jadon in young mens!

Our Jandy Girl had foot surgery on March 23!!

Jandy had foot surgery on March 23. She has flat feet and has had a lot of pain going up her legs. So Dr. Gough lengthened a part inside the back of her calf and added a plate in the bone in her foot to give her an arch. Pretty serious surgery. She did sooo good! She hasn't been able to walk for 6 weeks. So it has been kind of hard. But other than that she has done well. We will have to do the other one as soon as she gets use to using this foot again. Anyway. Crazy. She is a trooper.

We love St Patricks Day at our house! We have made it a fun tradition. With leprechauns, green pancakes, pictures in green. It has been the kids favorite for the past few years. And hopefully we can keep on as we are reaching the teenage years!!

Fun drive to Utah!

So the end of the break Mom, the girls, and I took a road trip to Utah for my cousin Clark's mission homecoming talk. It was such a fun trip. A lot of driving! But it was relaxing. I love the drive through all the small little Utah towns. They are so cute. We got to my Aunts on Saturday afternoon and visited for a while. It was nice being there and catching up with Shauna. She and I are only a week apart and spent a lot of time together when we were younger. Clark is amazing. His talk was so awsome as he expressed his love for his mission and the experiences that helped him grow in the gospel. I am so thankful that I could be there and fill the Spirit. It is always so awsome to be able to learn and have my own testimony grow from the experiences that others share! I am so blessed to have a testimony of the gospel and to know that I will be with my family forever. What a great memory the girls and I were able to make with my mom.

Spring Break at Roosevelt Lake! Fun Times!

So for spring break we headed to Roosevelt Lake to camp. It was such a great trip. The kids had so much fun. And it was fun seeing the cousins. Jailee learned to ride her bike. She was way excited. We got there Sunday night. Then on Monday we got a call that our neighborhood was evacuated because of a fire. It was scary. There were 11 homes that were lost. We were very blessed that ours was not one of them. It was a crazy break. But we still had a great time and couldn't have been in a better place.

So on Feb 15,1997 Jeremy and I were set up on a blind date. 14 years ago today at this same time. We took this picture 5 minutes after we met. I never knew going on that date that I would end up marrying my best friend. I am so blessed to have him in my life. We have been through a lot together. And I know that I couldn't have made it through with out him by my side. He is more than I ever imagined a husband could be. He brings out the best in me and makes my life complete! I look forward for the years to come!

Our last Pinewood Derby!

So Jeben had his last pinewood derby on January 27. He was way excited about it this year. He decided he wanted to do a Mickey Mobile! It turned out really cute. He ended up getting 2nd place. It was a fun night for him. I can't believe it is our last one. (I think Jeremy is kind of excited bout that!) Bitter Sweet!

Jeremy and I left for Furniture Market in Vegas on January 23. It was a good trip. Betty (Grama) came and stayed with the kids. It was busy as usual. But we had a good time. And for the record I did not take one picture. I don't know what was wrong with me. That was a first for me. Crazy.

Jeremy and I take turns every Thursday taking one of the kids out on a one on one date. Well it was Jailee's turn and the minute she got home from school she start primping. I finally asked her what she was doing? And she said "Mom I have a big date tonight with dad and I want to look cute!" It was so funny. She was so excited and nervous at the same time. I thought it was pretty cute.

Jandy Girl is Baptized!

On 1-1-11 Jandy got baptized. She was so excited and has been anxiously waiting for this day. We had been panning for a while. I had Judy Billings make Jandy a special dress to be baptized in. I had some material from my Grandma Roxie's stash and thought it would be so special if she had a dress made from it. Judy was so kind to do it for me. She made a matching one for her doll. Jandy was so surprised. So we were on our way home from Disneyland which was Dec. 30th and our phones were ringing non stop about the snow storm that was going through Silver City as well as home in Arizona. So come New Years Eve our family members that were coming over for Jandy's big day were snowed in and would not be making it. She was pretty sad. Earlier My mom and dad called and said they were on their way and would be taking the long way around. So for New Years Eve grandma and grandpa Show Low made it. We were so happy. Then about 10 minutes before the baptism Grandma and Grandpa Snowflake got to the church and surprised Jandy with 3 of her cousins. Along with many of our friends here in Silver she had a special day. It couldn't have gone better. She wanted to sing a song by herself and she did it perfectly. She is such a special little girl. We are so proud of her. She brings so much happiness into our home. I cannot believe that she is 8. Time has gone way to fast!

I am really proud of Jadon and how he has progressed in his scouting. We are so lucky to have the leaders we have that have helped him through. He is getting closer to getting his Eagle. It has been so awsome watching him and his excitement to be apart of his troop.

Christmas at Disneyland 2010

We had such a great time at Disneyland. The kids were the perfect age. It was packed and the lines were long. But we still got on a lot of rides. Our last day it rained. But the girls got to spend the morning getting their hair done and all dressed up to eat with the princess'! It was so cute. They loved every second of it. By the time we did that the rain had stopped. It was a great day because there wasn't as many people out cuz of the rain. So we pretty much walked onto all the rides that day. What a fun time we had. Our friends were there the first two days so it was fun hanging out with them too.

We had a great time once the kids got out for Christmas Break. We love Christmas time and just being together as a family. The kids love the ward Christmas party. It was fun this year. We decided to take a family trip for Christmas this year. So we headed to Disneyland after church on Sunday the day after Christmas. I love Christmas Sunday. The spirit is always so strong as we reflect on our Savior and his birth. It is truly one of my favorite days in December. The music and the talks are always so awsome. We are so blessed to be able to share and worship with our family and friends in remembrance of the Savior!

So our Jailee Bug turned 6 October 7, 2010. Crazy! Time has gone so fast. We actually had her birthday right in the middle of our move. It was a whirlwind of a weekend. We moved, it was Jailee's bday, and we had NDI. Jadon and Jeben were both in it this year. It was alot of fun watching them. Jailee had a great birthday. And we survived the move. We then headed on to Snowflake for fall break. It was fun seeing all the cousins. Tarrin got his mission call while we were there. That was a sweet experience being there for that. He is going to Guatemala City. That is where my dad went. Anyway what a great weekend. We really enjoyed our time with family:)

So September 2010 Jeremy decided to take our family and mom to tuachon. It is in St George Utah. My Grandma and my mom use to go every year together. So she was having a hard time with the fact that she wasn't going to go. But I could tell she really wanted to. We decided it would be a good thing for her. I knew that it was going to be a hard thing. And that she was going to be thinking of my Grandma and missing her. I felt like it would be a good "theropy" for her. Another closure. And it really was. As the show started the tears came. But she was ok. She got through it. It was a great time to share with her. The kids loved the show. It was Tarzan and was performed in an outside theatre. Which was amazing. I would recommend anyone who could to go. It was awsome. They do different shows each year. Anyway we also got to take family pictures which was fun. We liked this old red truck and thought it would be fun to do something different. Fun memories!

The girls have loved their room since we re-did it. Our life has been crazy since school started. We sold our house and are renting. So the kids went from their rooms to the Lewis Orphanage. It has been crazy but they seem to be liking it ok. Hopefully it won't be that way too much longer. We are hoping to start building in March!!

Well we survived the week. Thursday night we braided hair so the girls could be curly for school on Friday. Jailee was so excited to ride the bus. I videoed her walking with Jeben and Jandy. We took pictures. Jeben wouldn't have anything to do with the pics so I took them of the girls. She was pretty happy when we got her off the bus. But as the afternoon went on I started to think it is going to take a while for Jailee to get into the whole school schedule. She was pretty moody when she got home. She loved going to school. But I think it is a long day and she was wore out. 8-3 schedule when use to just hanging out can be tough. Anyway. She woke up a little more chipper this morning. So hopefully she will be able to adjust quickly. Her and Jandy have been playing all morning. They are so lucky to have eachother. Jadon is loving middle school. He has grown up so much the past couple of months. We are having a lot of fun with him. Jeben seems to be doing good. He loves his teacher. He had her in 2nd grade too. So his class is a lot of the same kids he has been with. Same with Jandy her teacher moved up with her class from last year. So she pretty much picked up where she left off. Which is nice. It is crazy this month is flyin by. But life is good!:)

Jailee Bug Starts School!

Well we survived today! Or should I say I did. It was a long,
lonely day! I can't believe my Jailee Bug is in school. I am
certain that I was and am not ready for this phase of life!
She has been my little friend...for the past two years it has
been me and her...her and I!! I know that this is all apart of
the program. But I am sad! I will miss having her at my side!
As I ate lunch today I kept looking at the empty chair
beside me. It was way too quiet. I don't really like
the quiet...especially today! Anyway. She did
great. Except she was the only girl in her class today.
Yep her and all boys. Crazy. They only have half
the class go today and half tomorrow. On Friday she
will ride the bus and the whole class will be there.
I guess all I can say is this is going to take
getting use too! "Life Happens!"

So on August 6th we took the kids to Sun Splash in Mesa. We had so much fun. Jailee went with me the whole time. Jandy went on pretty much every slide. She was loving life. It was so cute watching her. And of course the boys had a good time. Jeben is our dare devil. He went with his dad on the steep slide that the tube goes down one side and back up the other side real fast. It was crazy. Anyway. It was a lot of fun. We then met up with Justin, Jani, Mom, and Dad and went to dinner. It was nice. On Saturday the 7th we went to Gonzo night with the D-backs. It was a bit stressful getting there. We rode the train. It took longer than we thought. But we made it. And the kids got their Gonzo Bobble Heads. It was a great game. They even one. It was a nice weekend. We played Rock Band and the kids loved it. We then headed home Monday after a little school shopping. Crazy its that time of year!

Jadon has been wanting to drive old blue. So Jer let him drive from the side of the house to the front. He thought he was pretty dang cool. Anyway. On July 12th Jadon started scout camp. It was crazy he went all week long. All I can think is here we go. He is starting all the big stuff. Middle School, Scout Camps, Mutual. Crazzzzy!

So on July 29th we headed to Ruidoso to

do some pics. And to hang with Farrah and

the kids. It was a nice get away.I think the kids

were happy to see their friends. Its been too long.

Jandy lost a tooth!!

On July 6th my mom and dad's little dog Trey got put down. He has been in the family longer than any family member that has married into the family. They got him in January of 1997. So he's been in the family for 13 1/2 years. All of us have talked about "when the puppies go what will mom and dad do?" Well it was the saddest moment as I watched the kids while mom held him. The tears rolling down their cheeks was so sad as they all said good-by. We all stood by while the kids put dirt in the whole where he was buried. It was sad watching little Annie (the other puppy). I think she will be lost without him. Anyway...The experiences of life!

So the week after the 4th of July we had cousin week at my moms. It was a lot of fun. We hung out at the pool at Days Inn, played games, made crafts, and just spent time together. At the end mom gave the kids little awards. It was cute. They all loved it...

Nothing like being home for the 4th of July! This year on the 4th was one of those times my heart was with Grandma and I thought alot about how she is really gone. I missed her so much. But I am glad to know she is happy. We are so blessed to have such special people in our lives who make us want to be a better person each and everyday. She will always have a special place in my heart.
